Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. This role focuses on delivering high-quality vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs while maintaining superior customer service standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accurately troubleshoot customer vehicle concerns using the latest administrative and technical tools
  • Provide courteous and professional interaction with all customers
  • Greet customers proactively when near the Service Drive area
  • Stay current with technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations
  • Ensure safe, reliable vehicle service is delivered correctly the first time
  • Address all original customer concerns before performing additional sales work
  • Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify additional maintenance or repair opportunities following factory and local recommendations
  • Return vehicles to customers clean or cleaner than received
  • Participate in factory and in-house training programs as required
  • Complete all documentation accurately and ensure all required forms are attached to repair orders
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Group Leader
  • Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and dress code standards

This is an in-person position based at our dealership in Gilbert, AZ. You will be part of a professional team dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude and high-energy personality
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • ASE certification or demonstrated technical aptitude required
  • Technical or trade school degree preferred
